About Us:
Media Shop Collective, an internationally award-winning digital and design agency located in beautiful St. Albert, AB, is growing and looking for a new team member to help us do what we do best - make our agency partners SHINE! We are searching for a full-time Marketing Coordinator who will help amplify our existing clients’ marketing efforts by creating fresh, impactful content, driving engagement, and supporting content marketing strategies across multiple platforms.
This person will take the lead on exciting new content marketing projects, including writing blog posts, designing email campaigns, and crafting social media content – all with the support of our collaborative MSC team. We’re looking for someone who has a knack for creative marketing, who thrives on solving problems, and who has a strong passion for writing. If you're a dynamic individual who loves bringing ideas to life, then we want you on our team!
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain content calendars, ensuring fresh and engaging social media content
Write and optimize blog posts and email campaigns
Create compelling ad copy for Google and Meta ads
Monitor and respond to social media inquiries and engagement
Track and analyze data from Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and email marketing tools
Collaborate with clients to strategize, implement, and monitor campaigns
Lead strategy writing for marketing projects
Collaborate directly with the founder and CEO to execute projects to support the growth of Media Shop Collective
Must Haves:
A 4-year degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, or related field
0-2 years of experience in content creation, social media management, and marketing
Excellent writing skills, with a focus on creating compelling, conversion-focused copy
Strong communication and customer service experience
Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment
A curious, self-driven mindset focused on finding creative solutions
Nice to Haves:
Experience in Google Analytics and Google Search Console to track and analyze marketing data
Familiarity with email campaign platforms (e.g., Flodesk, Mailchimp)
Knowledge of SEO best practices and content optimization
Experience with paid ads and Google AdWords campaigns
A basic understanding of website development and SEO
Strong background in sales to support with agency partner attraction and onboarding
